How do I use the Anaconda plugin for Python support?

Autocomplete doesn’t work as I imagine it should
The suggestion box only shows if I press tab or space. Then after pressing anything else , it dissappears. And pressing tab while the suggestions show just inserts a tab into the text area making the autocomplete totally useless.

I’m thinking just declare it to be a piece of crap until they get it working and head to Pycharm which has its own problems.
