I get this weird stutter when I hold down a key (any key).

What I’m doing there is holding the key down, and then when I release it that’s when all the additional letters show up. It’s really annoying when trying to hold down delete to delete a bunch of text because I can’t tell when to let up.

This is occurring in Debian 7 (wheezy) with XFCE. I’m running the latest build of ST 3. Things I’ve tried:

Disabling/removing ALL packages/plugins
Removing all user settings (use default set)
Disabling auto-complete
Various key repeat settings

Any other suggestions?*
