Copy/save with syntax highlighting format

#1

Is it possible to copy or save a file to include the syntax highlighting format? Sometimes it would be very useful to preserve colors, rather than just text-only copy.

Examples include:

  1. pasting a section of code to a Word .doc
  2. publishing code to a webpage or email
  3. printing code with colors

You can do it with andre-simon.de/doku/highligh ā€¦ light.html.

That seems a nice piece of software. Still, a plugin for ST would be nice.

I agree. Especially printing from within ST would be great.

I would very much like to see this functionality.

See Copy text with highlighted colors (in Ideas and Feature Requests) for related discussion.

Also see ExportHTML (my favorite): github.com/facelessuser/ExportHtml

There are a number of differences between the two packages, the main one being that **ExportHtml **can keep your ST theme colours. **SublimeHighlight **uses the *Pygments *online feature. But, of course, Iā€™m slightly biased
