Hi,

I’m new to Sublime Text so even though I’ve been reading the forum, it seems that this topic wasn’t discussed before.

I’ve tested Sublime 2 successfully and wanted to try the 3beta. Anyway, I’m behind a proxy so I need to modify the package settings with my
credentials.
Whereas this worked well with 2, the settings modification with the 3beta (build3083) didn’t worked :
*Preferences > Package settings > Settings - default * do open a tab but the settings are not writable, so I couldn’t add my credentials and the proxy address.

What I did to overcome this, is to simply copy the tab and create the new file with the pasted content in :
(windows 7)
c:\user<username>\AppData\Roaming\Sublime Text 3\Packages\Package Control\Package Control.sublime-settings

which did the trick.

Read the first few comment lines in the file that opened. Hint: It refers to “Preferences > Settings - User”.

well I missed that. I think I was blind by the fact that in 2 I didn’t had this.
