"Permission Denied" when running ST3 from CLI

#1

Hi,

I’m using OS X - El Capitan and running ST3.

When opening ST3 from the GUI, clicking on the icon, it works just fine.

When opening ST3 from the CLI, (I use iTerm), it pops-up a “Permission Denied” window.

I’m getting “Permission denied” error in a popup and also in the console, but no information on which file or plugin that’s failing.

There is someone with a similar issue on the forum:
It seems to appear for every file that I have open where I have to hit ‘OK’ 5+ times every time I save, switch files, etc.

Deleting ~/Library/Application Support/Sublime Text 3/ does not help. The only thing that I’ve found to temporarily keep the error message at bay is replacing the app contents in /Applications, but it inevitably returns. This time it started popping back up after I installed the “Git” plugin but that’s not the only way it’s started appearing (quitting Sublime and opening it again always reps the problem).

I’ve set debug=true, for SublimeLinter and Package Control, turned off save_on_focus_lost, and tried opening permissions everywhere that could matter.
Eitherway, to me the error only happens when running subl from the terminal.

Any idea how to fix this?
