`Find All` not honouring `In selection`

I'm either having the same or a similar issue on OSX. Doing a find works as expected but as soon as I check the "In selection" button it reports that no matches were found. It doesn't matter if anything is selected or not. As soon as I toggle the "In selection" setting it finds all the matches.
