Highlight changes in the MiniMap

#1

Hi.

So Im trying out Sublime Text because Im used to using visual studio with rockscroll but what I’m missing the most is that the minimap tracks my changes.

Often Im editing multiple parts of gigantic legacy scripts and jumping around all the time. Having change tracking in the minimap panel would really help me out making it easier to find do parts of the scripts that Ive edited so far.

Doesn’t need to be much. Just some coloring that will show that Ive edited the file in this and that location. Once the file is opened and closed the coloring should reset but should be kept even if the file is saved.

Maybe this feature is already in there but I was unable to find anything like it poking around with the settings.

I think the minimap is just an exact replica of the main content area but scaled down. As such, it’s unlikely without a decent amount of reworking that it could ever display anything different to the normal code area. But I am guessing here.
