Highlighting Programming Code within HTML

Highlighting Programming Code within HTML

Postby noob1 on Thu Oct 27, 2011 5:11 pm

Im trying to make the background color of a certain type of programming code change within my theme but I dont know how!!

Example:
<% Example Code: Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet... %>

I want the "<%", everything in between the "<%" and "%>", and the "%>" to have a different background color than the background of the editor.

Can this be done? How do I do it?

Help!

It can be done, as the color scheme I'm using (Soda Dark) seems to do it. Don't know how, though, but you could take a look at the scheme to see how it does it.

I attached a screenshot, to make sure that's what you're talking about.
