I’ve downloaded a few unicode encoded russian Hunspell dictionaries (e.g. code.google.com/p/hunspell-ru/). It works fine, but word suggestions don’t work. In English they work. Could you give an advice why?

Does anybody uses spell checking in not English language? Do suggestions work?

Yeah, I do use non-english dictionaries, both russian and one other. They do work, including suggestions, as far as I remember (can’t check now), but I had to re-encode them to utf-8, and edit the header. It may have broken, though.
Did you read sublimetext.com/docs/2/spell_checking.html , just in case?

Edit: nope, word suggestion definitely does not work for me either

Cool! I thought it’s only my trouble. So, could anybody give advice how to fix it and get working suggestions?

Seems like we are experiencing the previously mentioned bug. It is almost a year now, maybe it was once fixed, but has now resurrected.

Also, I have a feeling it is related to the whole circle of issues due to inconsistencies on determining what is a word.

Suggestion bug of last year still exists. It will be sometime fixed or implemented?
