How can I set the default folder when you select File->Open?

I have the same issue.

I’ve created a folder on my system that’s populated with symlinks for all the folders I usually open. So I would like ST to always take me to this folder with I ask to open something, instead of to the last place I opened something.

Is there a setting for this?

i wonder if there is an answer to this Q (asked in 2012), ie when I file->open folder id like it to open a default location. thanks
