Licence not working in linux version

#1

Hi guys,

can you think of the reason why licence wouldn’t work in linux? I used it on my win machine, on mac and now I installed Mint on my desktop win machine and wanted to use sublime text (which I can, just I would like my licence to be there).

Any ideas why licence wouldn’t work?

Best,
Zeljko Dakic

I am a little dissapointed that my legitimate support issue is not addressed.

Does it say “Unregistered” in the titlebar?

Licenses for Linux are identical to the other platforms: verify that you’re entering the same text.

Alternatively, you can copy the License.sublime-license file from the Data/Settings directory on one of your existing installs to the Linux install (data directory locations are listed here: sublimetext.com/docs/2/revert.html)

Issue is resolved, thanks Jon. Issue was that I pasted in Evernote and line breaks were significant.

I am having this same issue. Have my key, but Evernote removed the formatting so it wont accept it. Can you tell me how the formatting should be so I can re-enter my licence.
SOLVED: This is the format is should be in:

----- BEGIN LICENSE -----
Example
Single User License

00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000
00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000
00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000
00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000
00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000

00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000

Thank you Jon!
