Well I wonder why those settings are ignored at least since version 2177

“show_tab_close_buttons”: true,

// Places a highlight on tabs with unsaved changes
“highlight_modified_tabs”: true,

They do not have any effect anymore that’s sad since I’ve found it really helpful…
Or should those settings placed elsewhere from now on instead of having it in Global Settings?

I use those settings and I don’t have any problem…

highlight_modified_tabs currently doesn’t do anything if you’re using the default theme.

Is it possible to have the close button on the LHS of the tab? Or are they hardcoded to be on the RHS?
