Overlay Scrollbars Win7

#1

Hi,

I am using ST2 2178 on Win7, 64b. I have set “overlay_scroll_bars”: “enabled”, so the scrollbars are generally hidden. If there are long lines (word wrap off), I would expect that a horizontal scrollbar gets visible when I point the mouse to the bottom of the window, which does not happen. However, I can drag an “invisible” scrollbar to scroll the view sideways (it is still not visible). If I use the mouse-wheel or pageup/pagedown, the bottom scrollbar gets visible and I can use it correctly (it is visible as long as the mouse is over it).

Is this expected behaviour? It would be nice to show the scrollbar on mouseover.

One more question: Is there a keyboard command to move the cursor to the beginning / middle /end of the visible area without scrolling the page?

Thanx for this amazing editor!!

Scroll bar slider is hard to see

Overlay scrollbars only show when scrolling, and not on hover - this is by design. They’re modelled after the scrollbars on OS X Lion, but are available on other operating systems for any users who wish to use them.
