I can't seem to set the detect_slow_plugins option to false in the file /Users/{my_username}/Library/Application Support/Sublime Text 2/Packages/User/Global.sublime-settings

Am I using the wrong path?

I have mine set in [User folder]/Preferences.sublime-settings and it seems to work.

I know this is an old post, but to throw it out there my "detect_slow_plugins" setting wasn't working because I had the word false in quotes so it was being read as a string rather than a boolean. Correcting it to this resolved it.
Code: Select all
"detect_slow_plugins": false,
