Command using selected text as parameter

Command using selected text as parameter

Postby hems on Mon Feb 20, 2012 12:24 pm

Hello Folks, hope everyone is doing great and had an awesome weekend.

Am currently trying to prepare my sublime text to code SuperCollider. I had a great start by copying the TextMate bundle, which guarantees nice syntax highlighting.

BUT...

Unfortunately the Shortcuts doesn't seem to work. I guess SublimeText still not compatible TextMate "commands"/"shortcuts" for bundles, am i wrong?

Anyway, what i need isn't that complicated. I need to configure shortcuts to trigger a command line ( any other suggestion? ) command passing the selected text as argument. I had a quick look on the help/google and couldn't find an answer ( am i stupid? ).

So basically, could someone give me some directions on how to port TextMate shortcuts and/or how to make commands on Sublime Text that would receive my selected text as argument ?

Thanks a lot for your help!
