How to enable Mac/Ubuntu kind of Anti-aliasing?

#1

Hi,

I just got Sublime Text for windows, But mine doesn’t render text like the screenshots on the home page, This is how they look on my pc and configs:

Now you can compare it to the screenshots here: http://www.sublimetext.com/
This is my user config

{ "font_size": 12, "font-family": "Consolas", "font_options": "standardantialias"] }

I’ve tried other mods, but i don’t think anything changes at all, Am i doing this right?

If you are brave enough, you can try this: askvg.com/how-to-get-mac-os- … n-windows/ :smile:

I already tried those solutions, I don’t prefer them, I thought it’d be epic if something like this is built in Sublime Text

About the font rendering on the home page’s screencasts: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=7843&p=34386&hilit=font+screencast#p33087

I generally use Linux at home, but at work I have to use Windows, so I can sympathize your plight. If you care sufficiently about typography, use another OS :smiley:

Try “subpixel_antialias” and make sure True/ClearType is enabled in Windows.
