OS Sleep Causes Funny Behavior

I have noticed that, after running Sublime Text for a full day, putting my computer to sleep, and waking it the next morning causes Sublime to stop working. There are a few specific issues:

• When the window is brought forward after waking from sleep, tabs are not rendered and the body of the window is blank
• When I close the window, the process does not quit. I have to go through the Task Manager to kill the process

I'm running Windows 7 x64. Please let me know if you would like further information.
