I’m thinking of how to implement equivalents of Vim’s window resizing commands. I particular it would be nice to maximize the current layout group (like ctrl+w, _ and ctrl+w, | in Vim). Even better would be to also remember the current layout, even if it has been customized, to toggle between maximized and normal layout groups. I don’t think there is such an API available, but hopefully I just missed it.

Thanks for that! Looking at Origami, I realize that I probably can do what I want already (at least mostly). I’ll play around with it over the weekend and send a pull request when I’m done.
