Find Completions Results in a beach ball on OS X

#1

Hi, I’m evaluating Sublime Text 2 as a replacement for Eclipse. It was working well for the most part. With python I didn’t have any issues.

I’m trying to work on a simple Java app now, whenever I get to a point where auto complete triggers (or I manually trigger it) I get a spinning beach ball. I don’t think this was happening after I initially installed the SublimeJava plugin. It’s a deal breaker for sure though, I’m hoping it’s either a bug or something that can be tuned because I like the editor.

I have build 2217 and my installed plugins are:

SublimeJava
Maven
Terminal

Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like issue #35 or #41 with SublimeJava. Feel free to submit a pull request.

Hmmm. Ok I might check it out, but I’m realizing even with that fixed Sublime Text won’t be fast enough for java without a lot of additional work.
