This is using build 2216, on Windows 7 Pro.

If I type “/*” in the find dialog (w/o the quotes, of course) then I hit the “Enter” key, ST auto-completes the comment by putting the closing comment inside the Find dialog. At first it is confusing, as the closing comment tag has been placed on another line (albeit hidden, as the find field is only one character in height). If I delete, using the “delete” key, you can see the unwanted closing comment tag come up to the same line.

If I start over, and try looking for “/*” again, but instead of hitting “Enter”, I click the “Find” button, all is well.

This isn’t huge, but it was confusing at first, because I didn’t realize what was going on!

*Edit: I just realized you can increase the height of the Find text field. If you do that, you can easily see the closing comment tag being added. Also, could this be caused by a plugin? I’m not sure if auto-completing a comment is ST default, or a plugin.
