Is there a way to drag selected text?

In many other editors one can select text with mouse and drag it to another place in code.
Can we do such a thing in Sublime?

Actually win version have this for quite a while now:

OSX and Windows: Added text drag and drop

Just make sure you have

Code: Select all

"drag_text": true

in your config file

so, ver. 2.0.1 b 2217, "drag_text": true, but dragging still does not work.
I've seen reports about it in couple of places here - I'm on 64bit Linux - is there any known workaround this problem, since I'd like to switch to sublime from NetBeans (don't use all the features anyway), just being on hold due to drag selection thing :/

I'm having the same problem. It seems to be a bug, and might be specific to the Linux version. I'm running version 2.0.1, build 2217 on Ubuntu Linux.

Text dragging is not currently supported under Linux

Are you sure? It works fine in OSX Nightly 2219 at least.
