Keys for multi-select non-contiguious lines?

#1

Hi,

I discovered by searching the Forum that one can use Ctrl+Alt+Up and Ctrl+Alt+Down to mutl-select contiguous lines. As a committed keyboard guy, I think this is really cool (platform is Windows XP).

Is there any way to use the keyboard to multi-select non-contiguous lines? In other words, select only the first and third lines as in:
First
Second
Third

I can do this using Ctrl+click out in the left margin (on the line numbers), but it would be nice to have a keyboard way to do it.

Thanks!

FWIK, there’s no builtin command to do this using only keyboard.

I recommend you take a look at this plugin:

Thanks for the reply. I’ll look at the plugin to see if it does what I want (and it’s a “want” not a “need” since there is a workaround using the mouse and the Find command).
