How do I add a custom snippet?

How do I add a custom snippet?

Postby davelk on Sun Nov 29, 2009 9:59 am

Ok, I just stumbled on sublime and it's sick!

I know this is probably basic but I clicked 'add snippet' edited the template document and saved it as a snippet file in the users directory and it didn't work?
where am I going wrong?

The default snippet it creates has the scope set to source.python, as an example: you'll likely want to remove this, otherwise the snippet will only work when editing python files.
