If I download and install Sublime Text 2.0.1 for Linux 64-bit (md5sum of the tar.bz is bd816d93239a0af9ade257b2a9dcf8d2), every time I start Sublime Text it prompts with "A new version of Sublime Text 2 is available, download now?" If I open the "Help | About Sublime Text 2" dialog, it says that Sublime Text is version 2.0.
Could you please issue a new tarball with a real version 2.0.1 inside? Or issue a 2.0.2, or something. Anything to get it to stop prompting me.
There's nothing wrong with that tarball. I'm using it myself on Ubuntu and it's v2.0.1 build 2217.
The issue is on your side.
