Tab indentation within empty element problems

#1

Hi,

I put together a video showing the problem problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHVScETzhk8)

Basically, I first use the Ctrl + Shift + W command to create an opening and closing element.

  • I press Enter twice, and then arrow up to indent the current empty line.
  • I press Tab, expecting one level indent. Instead the cursor goes to the end of the opening tag.
  • I press arrow down to get to the empty line, and press Tab once again. Now the cursor jumps to the end of the closing tag.
  • Again, arrow up and press Tab. Now it indents as expected.

Expected result: Indenting the current line to be able to start typing at the first attempt. Takes three tries now.

If you hit “esc” before hitting “tab” the first time you should be good.

Thanks! That does work, although it shouldn’t be needed.
Additionally, since I generally use Vintage mode, this doesn’t really help since it then goes into the Command mode.
