Slow Performance on Retina

Slow Performance on Retina

Postby pushxtonotdie on Fri Sep 07, 2012 8:21 pm

Hi, I've been trying to work with Sublime on my new Retina Macbook and the scrolling is really janky and unresponsive. I really enjoyed the fluidity of the interface before, but now it seems like the size of the display may be taking its toll. Looking at Activity Monitor I can see that sublime isn't spiking the cpu or anything. Is it possible to improve this somehow? Up the thread priority or something?

Thanks
C

Am I the only person who is seeing this? It would be nice to get a reply. I'm a paying user, is this the best support I can get?

No, you are not the only one. Performance is very visibly worse on larger resolutions.

Thanks quarnster and arek1. Well, that's too bad. Its been a few months and I haven't seen any movement on this. I guess I should start looking at other options. Its sad because I really enjoyed sublime.

The just released 2219 brings the snappiness back on retina.
