Sublime Text Icon Idea

What do you guys think of this idea for an icon for Sublime. It's a work in progress, but I think something like this would be better for Sublime than what it currently has.

god, it suck as much as current one, if not more :/
It's easy to make yes, but it's not very creative and intuitive.

A professional opinion as a graphic/web designer should be constructive, that was not.

The "S" is not aligned to the middle, probably because the font is not embedded correctly?

I think the current icon works for me, but that's just my personal opinion of course
