In X, resize the file browser on left side?

It would be helpful to be able to minimize or resize the file browser on the left side of X.

You can resize it by dragging on its right hand edge, but under linux there's not yet a resize mouse cursor to indicate that you can.

Anything for updating? With the new tab feature, I don't know how often I'll use the file browser, especially on a smaller laptop screen.

I'm not quite sure what you're asking... but if your asking if the side bar can be hidden entirely, there's a menu item for that in the view menu.

And minimize was what I meant, and what you mentioned was exactly what I was looking for, thanks!
