Better command line option for the side bar

#1

I not only use Sublime Text for my coding - with the side bar open all the time - I also use it for my git commit messages. But when git opens the second editor window, it copies the current state of the side bar. And as the window opened from the command line is only quite small, the side bar uses too much space. On the command line I can only toggle the side bar. But if it happens that no other ST window is open at that time, this command will show the side bar instead of hiding it.

It would be much nicer if there was a command line option for turning it either on or off. Additionally a “open maximized” command line option would be nice too.

Cheers,
Roman.
