In https://forum.sublimetext.com/t/dev-build-2084/2008/1, jps mentions that cursor blink rate is picked up from the OS settings. I’m running Mavericks, and blink speed seems to be independent of whatever I set the OS default to.

Could we add an option for caret_rate into the mix? I’m making a plugin that will match the blink rate to whatever’s playing through iTunes, but rate control is sorely needed.
