It would be very nice to have a persistent download link that points at the latest version.
Kinda like Wordpress has the download link: wordpress.org/latest.zip

For example a permanent link for the Ubuntu 64-bit sublime 3 package, “sublime-text-3_latest_amd64.deb” would currently point at the “sublime-text_build-3065_amd64.deb”

Better yet, for the Linux packages, set up a proper repository. Then we could just install and manage it like everything else, rather than having to download it manually every time
