1. There is an expand selection to scope and an expand selection to tag. Scope only works within Javascript, PHP etc; tag only appears to work in HTML, XML, etc. It would be helpful if these were unified into one.

2. It should be possible to contract selection in the same way you can expand it. Sometimes you expand a selection to much, and want to contract it one notch.
