Search results in a different column

#1

Is it possible to open tabs for search results links in a different column?

It’s a bit annoying to have a three-column setup, and then having constantly d&d tabs when searching something.

Thanks,

If you leave the Find Results tab open, it’ll stay in whatever tab you left it in. You can delete the contents of it and new find results will get appended. Does that work for you?

No, I’m asking for a completely different thing.

Let’s say I have to editor columns – 1 and 2.

I search across my projects and “Find Results” tab is in column 1.

Now, when I click on search results, I want then to open in column 2, not in column 1.

I don’t think there’s a way to specify that.

Install Open-Include package,
open the package settings and set “in_secondary_column” to true

then, in a find and results view, click the line you want to open and instead of double click, just hit “ALT+D”

Thanks a lot. I’ll try.

However, I still think that this should be something supported in Sublime natively.
