I’ve been using sublime for at least a year now perhaps more than two, but there’s one subtle Textpad behavior/feature I still sorely miss.
I’m not quite sure what to call it, but I will try to explain it.
- I place my cursor on line x, column 10.
- I type (or paste in) some text (while staying on the same line)
- I move my cursor up or down.
- My cursor is now on a new line, my cursor is at column 10 (the column I started my edit on the previous line, not the column I ended on)
Is this an option I’m missing or a plug-in?
It just worked so intuitively in Textpad
