Choice for antialiasing of fonts

#1

Hello,
I would like to ask about a feature which I have only found in Ultraedit concerning editors that run natively (this can also be found in java based editors) which concerns font antialising.
I include the screenshot of Ultraedit configuration screen concerning this:

I know that this is probably very low priority, but as I am constantly in the look for good programming fonts (especially ones that include greek characters) I have used some that look horrible under cleartype, or antialising) so I would have to change the overall Windows behaviour in order to change this for only the editor font. So I wish that you could include it in one of your updates.

Kind regards,

Nick Tzanos

I’ll add the ability to specify per-font anti aliasing settings for the next beta.

In 20090219, change the font (in User File Type.sublime-options) to something like:

font Courier New 10 :noantialias

or use :standardantialiasing to use non-cleartype antialiasing.

For interests sake, you can also set the options :bold and :italic.

:bold, :italic, :noantialias all work nicely. Does the appearance of :bold and :italic suggest that we’ll see bold and italic in syntax themes?

It’s on the todo list, but it’s not a priority right now.
