Is it possible to truncate file paths in the file menu so that long filepaths do not cause an extremely wide file menu?

This will help for situations where people are forced to use the editor on a small screen such as on an old laptop.

instead of

c:\documents and settings\user\foobar\longnamehere\somethingelse\foobar.txt

it would be

c:\documents…ingelse\foobar.txt

you’ve probably seen this already in other editors, so is this something you considered and already rejected?

It’s simply something I haven’t thought of doing: it’s a good idea, I’ll add it to the todo list.
