Resizing Panes, Console, Output panel

Would it be possible to allow panes and panels to be resized? I'm primarily interested in being able to make the Output panel bigger so I can better see output from console programs (see also this topic).

Yeah it's a pain that it's not possible yet - it's on the todo list though.
