SublimeREPL

First version of text transfer has been added in the *default* branch just now

F2, s - sends current selection for evaluation to the REPL
Shift+F2, s - writes current selection the the REPL's panel, but does not send it just yet, you have to manually press enter at the end of the input (maybe after changing some things)

Additional shortcuts:
[Shift+]F2, f - sends/writes a whole file
[Shift+]F2, l - sends/writes all lines that are touched by any selection

If you wish to do something yourself, window commands: repl_view_write, repl_send are the place to go.

Known problem:
* sending a whole python class works if, and only if there are no empty lines in it.

Default branch is now hosted on Github as well, for those who prefer Git over Mercurial

What platform are you on? Windows or OSX/Linux?

Uhh, would it be hard to get tab completion in the repl? ghci has support for it, so I tend to use it a lot. Thanks for the useful tool.

Just wanted to say thanks for making this available. I've been learning clojure and just now starting to use sublime text (which I'm finding awesome!). I think having the REPL incorporated like this is going to really help me speed up my learning curve.

If I get ambitious I may try to see if I can figure out the settings for a C# REPL via mono. I have some experience tinkering with that so I think maybe I can pull it off.

Thanks for this plugin. Having in-editor REPL functionality is awesome :)

Do you plan to allow for user specified REPL commands and corresponding keybindings? I'd love to be able to create additional commands / keybindings specific to ghci, bash, etc.

I don't mind hacking on my local copy to get it to do some extra stuff but it would be great if there were a more general way to handle customization.

Welcome back everyone :)

SublimeREPL is again in active development:
  • I've done some changes to the project layout to make adding new languages/repls easier on all three platforms.
  • Ruby support is back both on windows and linux/osx
  • Also thanks to @charliegriefer Clojure integration is much more polished than ever before.

Things that will happen in the immediate future:
  • Documentation
  • Add SublimeREPL to PackageControl
Things on the roadmap, w/o a specific date:
  • real terminal emulation (initially probably only on osx/linux)

Suggestions are welcome.
