JavaScript (node) API

JavaScript (node) API

Postby wprater on Wed Feb 22, 2012 11:57 pm

Curious if there is an effort to start a JavaScript (or Ruby) API for writing extensions?

The V8 engine would allow us to build what is needed to emulate most ctype support that we get from Python.

It would be great to allow one to write Extensions in Python or JavaScript.

Cheers.

Have you seen this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4753&start=0&hilit=v8+javascript+plugin

I haven't read all of it, but I know it's essentially about being able to write plugins in JavaScript.

    self.learn_from!(mistake) unless mistake.fatal?
