I am attempting to create a plugin which emulates much of the functionality of Notational Velocity within Sublime Text. I have got two features (wiki links and search-and-create) working basically the way I want it on my own system, but I thought I would make the results available to everyone else. Perhaps some things can be cleaned up or added.

I am a professional philosopher not a programmer, so I'm sure my python is ugly and I'm making some mistakes. I figure, however, that if I can figure out modal logic I can figure out how to write good code, so any pointers are appreciated.
