Examples of input based plugins

#1

Hi,

I’m a Sublime newbie who thought I would take a crack at creating a plugin. Our CMS consists of content classes and attributes, and what I’m looking to do is to have an input panel (like “show_overlay”, if I’m not mistaking) as a search field to lookup the various attributes.

I did not manage to locate the code for native show_overlay function in Sublime, so I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of perhaps a plugin doing something similar (I’ve seen videos of a CSS selector plugin doing something similar, but it seems like the code for it is no longer available).

Thanks in advance!

Package manager has an extensive use of overlay panels.
