When I paste Japanese characters into Sublime Text 2 (latest build) only squares are displayed. I also tried this with some other languages and also two RTL languages and both worked.

I have Japanese fonts installed. The other editor I use, Medit, does not have this problem.

Works for me on Windows 7.

I forgot to mention that I use Arch Linux.

This issue still exists. I also use Arch Linux.

I have checked my locales and everything is able to display Japanese characters. Except Sublime Text 2.

The same for any non-ascii characters.
