Command Palette hide/show items by syntax

#1

I’m in love with the new Command Palette !!!
It’s a great solution for all these keybindings that I almost never use and always forget how to trigger when I need it.

My only complaint is that I like a more contextual Command Palette where commands is visible or not depending of the current view syntax.
FWIK, actually the only way to do this is in the is_enabled() of the plugin, but I don’t think it a good place to test the syntax.

So is it possible to add something like a “selector” in the Command Palette items like the one in Build System ?
Or is there another solution ?

My Command Palette start to be a little bit cluttered with all things I put in it.
Jon, do you have a solution or an opinion on my request ?
Otherwise I need to think about a way to organize my commands differently.

Thanks.

I’d like to add support for contexts onto command palette entries, but it’s not a high priority atm

Thanks for the answer Jon.
I could live without them for the moment knowing that it will implemented in the (near  ) future.
