It would be GREAT if the console would have some type of colors schemeâŚ
Either a way to specify them or just use it bold for titles.
Currently itâs quite difficult to read when itâs a lot of text.
Thanks!

I agree with this too.
SciTE allows you to prefix console messages with operators, which change the colour of the line.
!> is red for example.
is blue.
-> is green
Etc etc
I can take a look a this, but what else besides the Python tracebacks could be higlighted? Output can basically be anything, right?
Hahaha! LOL!
But you missed his schedule from 12:00 am to 4:00 am where he canât resist posting on the forums, probably in his private retreat in the Tuscany where heâs flown in his private jet.
About selective highlighting of output, thatâd be pretty cool.
Very cool! Hereâs an idea, not sure how easily this would be implemented⌠could the settings be dynamically loaded depending on which file syntax is called?
Ideally like this, but youâd have to probably write a plugin to take in the scope and return the right definition:
"syntax": "Packages/{{Language}}/{{Language}}.tmLanguage",
And then, you do a find in folders for âfoobarâ, and each set has itâs own unique syntax:
/Users/ehamiter/project/api/views.py:
67 message = âOKâ
68 try:
69: if request.user.has_perm(âuser.foobarâ):
70 delivery = Delivery.objects.get(whatever)
71
/Users/ehamiter/project/db/12345.sql:
632 (
633 @package_PWCEO_id,
634: âfoobarâ,
635 âtrueâ,
636 now(),
/Users/ehamiter/project/scripts/grid.js:
14: var foobar = document.getElementById(layer);
15: if(foobar.style.display==ânoneâ){
16: foobar.style.display=âblockâ;
17: foobar.backgroundPosition=âtopâ;
18 } else {
etcâŚ
Output highlighting could be extremely useful for example in execution of unit test cases.
I dont know about python, but itâs extremely useful having the red and green colors on test unit executions output, as the tests pass or not.
The no âinputâ, no âformatted outputâ (html panel for example) and no âexecute code with the output appended to the file code or markers along the codeâ are the only âproblemsâ of sublime that makes me stick with textmate.
