Per source-type indentation settings?

#1

Hi,

I’ve been using Sublime Text 2 on OS X for the past couple of days and am very impressed, kudos.

I’m having one minor issue, however, where behaviour differs from TextMate. I have to work with both Ruby and PHP source files, in a single project. The PHP source files use tab indentation, while the Ruby source files use 2 spaces. I have to constantly change the indentation settings as I open new files. Is there a way to specify indentation settings either on a per-directory, or per-source-type basis?’’

Looking forward to seeing how Sublime evolves on OS X. More Cocoa-like window chrome and panels would be a welcome change, but I think Sublime far exceeds other editors in terms of functionality

You can use “Preferences/More/User Syntax Specific Settings” for this - it’ll open up a settings file that will effect the current syntax only
