What font is ST2 using for Mac OSX version?

#1

I liked the font a lot, anyone knows what it is? :stuck_out_tongue:
(the one used in the editing windows)

Thanks in advance!

The default is Menlo. See ~/Library/Application Support/Sublime Text 2/Packages/Default/Base File (OSX).sublime-settings

For some reason the Windows default is Courier New, instead of Consolas…weird.

Having the default font set to Consolas on Windows, would definitely be an improvement.

I agree - Consolas is the best built-in mono font on Windows. It doesn’t come with XP, though - that might be an issue.

If you want one Menlo-like font, Menlo is based on dejavu sans/bitstream vera sans fonts, and these fonts are free to use: http://dejavu-fonts.org/wiki/Download

At this url you have a great comparison graphic: http://www.leancrew.com/all-this/2009/10/the-compleat-menlovera-sans-comparison/
