Searching text

#1

When Ctrl+F is pressed, search box is filled with either last search string, or with selected text.

Is there a way to have it filled with current word where the caret is?

For example, if there is selected text Ctrl+F would open search dialog with selection,
if there is no selected text, Ctrl+F would open search dialog with word under caret.

Also, when something is found, I wold like Up/Down keys to work on editor, not on the search box.

BTW - SublimeText2 is great piece of software. Keep up the good work.

Ctrl+e puts the current word into the search box, so you could make a macro that hits ctrl+e then ctrl+f.
I don’t have any ideas for the arrow thing though.

A simpler way to do the same thing is to press Ctrl+F3 (command+alt+G on OS X), which will find the next occurrence of the word under the caret (and won’t show the find panel, either).
