Hello.

SublimeText is very slow on opening a text file in Japanese.
It takes about 5 seconds though text-file has only 183 Japanese characters(utf-8).
It happens on both version 1.4 and 2beta.
Opening a text file written in English is very fast even if it contains more than 10,000 characters.
So It is a kind of CJK problem I guess.
I hope that this issue is fixed at later version( and also hope that support for CP932(shift-jis) encoding ).
