I would love to see lines that have been added or modified since you started editing a file (and also lines added or modified since the last save) marked with “change bars” in the left margin. Something similar to Visual Studio’s track changes feature would be great, i.e. when a line is added or changed it is marked by a yellow change bar in the margin, when saved the orange change bars become green.
