Should ST2 be able to edit a roughly 2 meg source file? I’m looking at some js source from this blog post (specifically, this file: https://sites.google.com/site/simontechblog/home/sh-lighting/shLighting.js). It’s big due to a few large embedded data arrays.

On my computer with a stock ST2 build 2144 (no plugins, etc), I can move the cursor at about 2 fps, making editing pretty much an impossibility. Is this expected?

I tried the file on my Mac When scrolling through it when really slow (specifically at the real long lines). However, when I set word-wrap to true, it scrolled at normal speed. Hope that helps.

I was more curious if this is expected behavior or a known performance cliff that JPS knows about. It seems odd that long unwrapped lines would cause such a massive drop in usability.
